Step by Step: Uploading a profile picture

To upload a profile picture:

Note: All Canvas profile photos must adhere to guidelines set forth by the Online Instruction Steering Committee (OISC). Photos must be of the user (not of a pet, celebrity, etc.) and must be from the shoulders up (i.e. include only the user's face, neck, and shoulders). 

Step 1: In the Global Navigation, click or tap Account.

Step 2: Click or tap Settings.

Step 3: While hovering over the portrait icon, click or tap the Pencil icon to change profile picture.

Step 4: You may choose to Upload a Picture, take a Picture or use From Gravatar from the dropdown menu. You may also click or tap the choose a picture option under the icon. For this example, we will choose upload.

 Step 5: Click or tap to select picture file from computer.
 

Step 6: Click or tap the Open button.

Step 7: Use the arrows to drag the circle to crop the image.

Final Step: Click or tap the Save button.
