Step by Step: Customizing the Courses List

To Customize the Courses tab:

Note: The Courses list can be customized to show the preferred courses. 

Step 1: In the Global Navigation, click or tap Courses.

Step 2: Click or tap the All Courses link.

Final Step: Click or tap the Star icon to add or remove the course from the Courses tab.

Note:  By default Canvas will generate course cards in your dashboard without you starring a course, when you begin to use stars, this default view is replaced by starred courses.
