Step by Step: Importing a QTI .zip File to Question Banks

To import a QTI.zip file to Question Banks:

Step 1: Access a course.

Step 2: In the Course Navigation, click or tap Settings.

Step 3: Click or tap the Import Content into this Course button.

Step 4: Click or tap the Content Type drop-down list, then click or tap QTI .zip file.
Select QTIzip file from the dropdown menu

Step 5: In the Source field, click or tap the Choose File button.

Step 6: Locate the file, then click or tap to select file.
File named 'XQuestionSamplezip' in a folder with other files

Step 7: Click or tap the Open button.

 

Step 8: In the Default Question bank leave this as is. Don't check any options.

 

Final Step: Click or tap the Import button.

    These are a lot of steps. I'll need to practice this. Where are these QTI.zip files found? Are they files in Canvas?

    Good Question Ivan. I too wonder, will I be using a QTI.zip file from the data bank from the course I will be teaching?
