Step by Step. Studio: Creating a graded video quiz

Step 1: Create a video quiz in Studio (Directions for creating a quiz can be found below in external references).

Step 2: Create an assignment in your course.

Step 3: Under Assignment details, submission type, choose "External Tool".

Step 4:  Under External Tool Options, choose "Find".

Step 5: In the "Configure External Tool" window choose "Canvas Studio" and then the Select button.

Step 6: After the Link Resource from External Tool opens, locate the Studio video quiz and choose the "Select This" button.

Step 7: In the "Video quiz embed" tab, choose the "Quiz" drop-down menu, select the quiz you want to embed and select embed.

Step 8: Choose "Select" in the External Tool Options. If needed, scroll to the bottom of the Configure External Tool options window to choose additional options such as open in new tab, etc.

Final Step: Save and Publish the Assignment.

Note:  Once a student takes the quiz, the grades associated with the quiz are displayed in the Canvas grade book. During a course copy, copying the associated assignment will make cause Studio to duplicate the original video, copying it into the course's studio folder.
