Step by Step: Creating an Assignment using Turnitin

This guide will assist you in creating new Turn-it-in assignments. All newly imported Turn-it-in assignment from previous Terms will automatically convert from LTI 1.1 to LTI 1.3.

Step 1: Navigate to the Assignments menu.

Step 2: From the "Kabob" menu choose "Turnitin".

Step 3: Enter information in the pop-up form for the Turn-it-in Assignment.

Step 4: Choose "Submit" to create a new Turn-it-in Assignment. This assignment will be available in the Canvas Assignments menu.
